Algeria and Morocco tackle the COVID-19 Beast

Conspiracy-cafe – Algeria and Morocco decided on Wednesday May 27, 2020 to maintain the chloroquine protocol against Covid-19 despite the decision of the World Health Organization (WHO) to temporarily suspend its use. On the side of the Cherifian kingdom, the authorities are convinced of the positive effects of Hydroxychloroquine associated with artemisinin.
According to official statistics from Morocco, out of the 7,554 cases of covid-19 recorded in the country on May 26, 4,841 are cured, ie a cure rate of 64%, following the aforementioned protocol. The rest are being processed. The Cherifian kingdom is far from an isolated case in North Africa, its immediate neighbor, Algeria is on the same wavelength.
Dr. Mohamed Bekkat, a member of the Scientific Committee to monitor the development of the Covid-19 pandemic in Algeria, said that his country has treated thousands of cases with this drug. adding that, “this drug has been very successful to date and has not caused any adverse reactions.” WHO has recommended its collaborating countries to ban chloroquine instead of prescribing it until they see things clearly with scientists.

As Bilderberg Postpones 2020 Meeting, Former Governor Probed for Attending Elite Confab in 2018

21st Century Wire – n a rare turn of events, it’s been announced that this year’s 2020 Bilderberg Meeting has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. Should the 2020 meeting eventually go ahead, it would be 68th time the Bilderbergers have gathered in their mission to maintain the advancement of the U.S.-Europe “transatlantic” embryonic of world government. On their website, the globalist confab left the announcement to just a few words, stating in all-caps, “THE MEETING 2020 IS POSTPONED.
Stay tuned for more details on this development (see more at end of this article).
Meanwhile, off stage, one of the meeting’s previous attendees has come under scrutiny. Colorado’s Independent Ethics Commission will in fact conduct a hearing on June 4 about former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and his private business travels to determine if state law or the state constitution were violated when “Hick,” as he’s called for short, attended the highly secretive Bilderberg Meeting of 2018 in Turin, Italy.

Denmark sees no increase in coronavirus infections after opening schools

RT – A partial reopening of Danish schools did not lead to an increase in coronavirus infections among young students, according to an expert at the Danish Serum Institute.
Denmark was one of the first countries to reopen society on April 15 after a one-month lockdown. Students up to fifth grade were allowed back in school.
“You cannot see any negative effects from the reopening of schools,” Peter Andersen, a doctor of infectious disease epidemiology and prevention, told Reuters on Thursday.
The data showed no significant increase in infections among children aged between one and 19 in the weeks after the partial reopening of schools. “Based on the preliminary experiences that we have had, it has been a prudent way to plan a reopening,” Andersen added.

China’s parliament approves Hong Kong national security bill

Al Jazeera – China’s parliament has approved a decision to move forward with national security legislation for Hong Kong that critics fear could undermine the city’s autonomy.
The National People’s Congress on Thursday voted 2,878 to 1 in favour of the decision to empower its standing committee to draft the legislation, with six abstentions.
The legislators gathered in the Great Hall of the People burst into sustained applause when the vote tally was projected onto screens.
China says the legislation will be aimed at tackling secession, subversion, terrorism and foreign interference in the city but the plan, unveiled in Beijing last week, triggered the first big protests in Hong Kong for months.
The security law will alter the territory’s mini-constitution, or Basic Law, to require its government to enforce measures to be decided later by Chinese leaders. The plans have prompted widespread condemnation and strained China’s relations with the United States and Britain.

UK will increase visa rights if China pursues Hong Kong security law

BBC – Britain will give greater visa rights to British national overseas (BNO) passport holders from Hong Kong unless China suspends its proposed security laws, foreign minister Dominic Raab said in an interview reported by the BBC on Thursday.

US warship again challenges China’s South China Sea claims

CNN – he US Navy once again challenged Chinese claims in the South China Sea Thursday, sailing the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Mustin near the Paracel Islands.
The US Navy has twice sailed warships in a similar effort to challenge Chinese claims to the Paracel and Spratly islands in the last month and carrying out another such operation near the Paracels in March.
The increased operational tempo comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Beijing on a range of issues including the Chinese Communist Party’s efforts to exert greater control over Hong Kong and responsibility for the coronavirus.

Texas Supreme Court Hands Big Win to Trump, Halts Mail-In-Voting Over Fear of Catching Coronavirus

The Federalists Papers – The Texas Supreme Court just handed a big victory to President Trump and the Texas Attorney General by calling a halt to Democrats demanding vote by mail due to fear of catching the coronavirus.
Via the Dallas Morning News:
The Texas Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that lack of immunity to COVID-19 alone is not a physical disability that qualifies people to vote by mail.
The ruling is a victory for Attorney General Ken Paxton, who has argued that only a physical illness or disability that prevents voters from going to the polls should qualify people to vote by mail. It is a loss for the Texas Democratic Party and voting rights groups who had pushed for expanded mail voting during the coronavirus pandemic and had won temporary victories in lower courts.
In the majority opinion from the Texas Supreme Court, Chief Justice Nathan Hecht, joined by six other justices, acknowledged the intense political debate surrounding voting by mail.

Video: Fires Rage Across Minneapolis Overnight in George Floyd Protests

Breitbart – Multiple buildings in Minneapolis burned through the night Wednesday as protesters turned to riots over the death of George Floyd, who died Monday after a police officer was seen on video putting his knee on his neck, according to reports.
Protesters set fire to businesses, including an Autozone and Cub Foods, while an apartment complex under construction was also reportedly damaged by flames.

MSNBC Reporter Speechless After He’s Owned for “Mask Shaming” People As Crew Has on No Masks

ActivistPost – To those who have been paying attention over the last couple of months, the mainstream media’s coverage of the pandemic has been unethical, inconsistent, divisive, and in some instances outright false. The media has gone from telling Americans not to wear masks to shaming them for not wearing masks. Not surprisingly, their impetus behind this mask shaming is utterly hypocritical, as the following video shows us.
An MSNBC correspondent attempting to shame people on the streets of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for not wearing masks was called out by a passerby and left speechless as his hypocrisy was exposed.
MSNBC News correspondent Cal Perry was live on television when he was telling Katy Tur, “There doesn’t seem to be any social distancing and not a lot of care when it comes to the coronavirus.”
As he is shaming all the folks around him for not wearing a mask, he has the cameraman pan over to the passerby and said, “see, nobody’s wearing them.” The hypocrisy of MSNBC was then exposed in beautiful splendor.
As Perry attempted to shame the man for his lack of mask, the man quickly fired back, “Including your cameraman. Half your crew’s not wearing masks!”
The man then walked around with his cell phone, taking his own video, showing that 2 of the 4 crew members who were using their platform to shame folks for not wearing masks — were not wearing masks.
Perry was left speechless. The resultant 5 seconds of video was utterly epic as Perry and Tur stumbled to cut away from the scene as their hypocrisy blew up on national television.

American billionaires got $434 billion richer during the pandemic

NBC- America’s billionaires saw their fortunes soar by $434 billion during the U.S. lockdown between mid-March and mid-May, according to a new report.
Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg had the biggest gains, with Bezos adding $34.6 billion to his wealth and Zuckerberg adding $25 billion, according to the report from Americans for Tax Fairness and the Institute for Policy Studies’ Program for Inequality. The report is based on Forbes data for America’s more than 600 billionaires between March 18, when most states were in lockdown, and May 19.
The billionaire gains highlight how the coronavirus pandemic has rewarded the largest and most tech-focused companies, even as the economy and labor force grapples with the worst economic crisis in recent history.

Coronavirus: EasyJet plans up to 4,500 job cuts

BBC – EasyJet has said it will cut up to 30% of its workforce – about 4,500 jobs – as it struggles with a collapse in air travel caused by the virus pandemic.
The airline did not say exactly how many jobs would go, but it employed 15,000 people at the start of 2020.
Pilots’ union Balpa reacted angrily, describing the move as an “ill-considered knee-jerk reaction”.
EasyJet, which has big operations at Gatwick and Luton airports, confirmed it would restart flights on 15 June.
However, it said that levels of market demand seen in 2019 were not likely to be reached again until 2023.
It added that in the coming days, it would launch an employee consultation process on the planned job cuts.
It grounded its entire fleet in March as global travel came to a near-halt.

‘Any Day Now’- FEMA Preps 9.0 Magnitude Earthquake Along the Cascadia Subduction Zone -13,000 Deaths in Wake of Pacific Megaquake

Beforeitsnews – Juan de Fuca tectonic plate rupture. What will happen WHEN – not If – When a massive earthquake and tsunami strike the West Coast of the United States? Experts say it could easily match the catastrophic 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami in scale and might.
A 700-mile stretch of coast, from northern California to southern British Columbia lies just off the extremely volatile Cascadia Subduction Zone.
Not only have portable disaster morgues been shipped to four states in what appears to be preparation for a Large Earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic zone.
A new report predicts that a mega-earthquake could kill an estimated 13,000 people and destroy a sizable portion of the Pacific Northwest.
Even more disturbing? It’s overdue.
FEMA calculations show these types of earthquakes happen at regular intervals in this specific part of the world, roughly every 240 years.
The last one was more than 300 years ago, in 1700, when a quake there sent a 600-foot wave of water all the way to Japan.
Kaku said Hollywood has “brainwashed” people into thinking that California is where the next massive earthquake will hit.
He added that before the mega-quake actually hits, there is a compression wave that is detected by animals.
“Animals start to act very strange. We’ve seen that happen before earthquakes,” Kaku said. “And then, a minute, two minutes later, boom!”
The massive quake, with a magnitude of up to 9.2, would last about four minutes, according to seismologists, with a wall of water following about 15 minutes later.

Twitter’s chief ‘fact-checker’ called Trump officials ‘Nazis’

WND – The Twitter employee in charge of “fact-checking” President Trump’s concern about voter fraud in mail-in balloting has a history of anti-Trump tweets.
DailyMail.com reported Yoel Roth, whose official title is head of Site Integrity, referred to Trump officials as “actual Nazis in the White House” in 2017 and prior to that charged that flyover states are racist.
He also compared adviser Kellyanne Conway to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels.
Roth wrote: “Today on Meet The Press, we’re speaking with Joseph Goebbels about the first 100 days…’ – What I hear whenever Kellyanne is on a news show.”
His past statements were discovered after Twitter put a “fact-checking warning” on two of Trump’s tweets about California’s plan for mail-in voting in November.
Twitter cited left-wing organizations that oppose the president, such as CNN, in charging that the president’s claims were “unsubstantiated.”

Zuckerberg knocks Twitter for fact-checking Trump, says private companies shouldn’t be ‘the arbiter of truth’

Fox – Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has called out Twitter for attaching a fact check to a tweet from President Trump, telling Fox News’ Dana Perino that privately-owned digital platforms should not act as the “arbiter of truth.”
“We have a different policy than, I think, Twitter on this,” Zuckerberg told “The Daily Briefing” in an interview scheduled to air in full on Thursday.
“I just believe strongly that Facebook shouldn’t be the arbiter of truth of everything that people say online,” he added. “Private companies probably shouldn’t be, especially these platform companies, shouldn’t be in the position of doing that.”
Zuckerberg made the comment after President Trump warned social media giants that the federal government could “strongly regulate” or “close them down” if they continue to “silence conservative voices.”

President Trump Will Sign Executive Order on Social Media Censorship

Breitbart – President Donald Trump will sign an executive order on social media censorship amid rapidly intensifying political bias from the Silicon Valley Masters of the Universe.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters aboard Air Force one that the president will shortly sign the executive order, although no further details were given about what it will consist of.
This comes after Trump warned social media companies that continued political bias would lead to action from the administration.
“Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices,” said the President on Twitter earlier today. “We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen.”
The President also said Twitter was “interfering in the 2020 presidential election,” after the platform “fact checked” his tweets raising widely-held concerns about voter fraud in mail-in ballots.

Common Mallow – Nutrient Dense and Pain Relieving

Common Sense Home – If I told you that a wild edible plant was used as a substitute for both egg whites and okra, you’d probably think, “That’s crazy!”, but common mallow can indeed do both. We’ll share how to identify this common weed and put it to use for food and medicine.
Common mallow (malva neglecta) is also known as button weed, cheese mallow, cheese weed, round dock, cheeses, and malice; or dwarf, garden, low, round-leaved, and running mallow.
WHERE TO FIND COMMON MALLOW
Malva neglecta is native to Europe, but is now found all over the world, including most of the United States. It grows in disturbed and neglected areas such as gardens, nursery pots, landscapes and lawn edges, barnyards, road sides, railroad tracks, and vacant lots.
The plant is a summer or winter annual or biennial, meaning that it may complete its life cycle in one year or two, depending on conditions.
WHAT IS MALLOW USED FOR?
In the book “The Wild Wisdom of Weeds“, author Katrina Blair devotes an entire chapter to singing the praises of mallow for food and medicine. There are thirteen wild food recipes, as well as instructions for herbal healing.
EATING MALLOW
Common mallow is in the same plant family as okra, and shares the same mucilaginous properties. (It’s slightly slimy, and can be used for thickening.)
It’s high in calcium and magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, selenium, sodium, iodine, vitamin B complex, vitamin A, and vitamin C.
Katrina uses the young leaves raw in salad, mixed with other greens. She dices the whole plant and steeps it in water for several hours to create a thick liquid vegan egg white substitute.
Cook the root like a potato, or chop and blend to make “mallow milk”. Chop and cook mature leaves in recipes to thicken and bind (think okra or egg substitute).

FDA Finds Carcinogen in Some Versions of Popular Diabetes Drug

Newsmax – U.S. regulators are contacting pharmaceutical companies that make a popular diabetes medication after some of the pills were found to contain high levels of a chemical that can cause cancer.
The Food and Drug Administration discovered N-Nitrosodimethylamine, or NDMA, beyond acceptable amounts in some extended-release versions of metformin, Sarah Peddicord, an agency spokeswoman, said in a statement to Bloomberg. The World Health Organization classifies NDMA as a probable human carcinogen.
People with type 2 diabetes take metformin to control high blood sugar. About 21 million prescriptions for the extended-release version were written in the U.S. last year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg Intelligence, accounting for roughly a quarter of metformin prescriptions overall.
Some metformin recalls are expected as soon as this week, though it wasn’t clear which companies were planning to remove their products from pharmacy shelves, according to a person familiar with the matter. Metformin is manufactured for the U.S. market by numerous generic drugmakers worldwide.

4 DIY Home Cleaners You Can Make Out Of Pantry Staples Right Now

Mbg – If your cleaning product supply has run dangerously low but you’re sheltering in place and trying to limit trips to the store, why not go the homemade route? DIY cleaners can be easy to put together and as efficacious as store-bought when you use the right recipes. Plus, they’re cheap as can be. Here are a few from the mbg vaults that use ingredients you probably already have in your quarantine pantry.
Apple cider vinegar is a poster child of the DIY beauty and cleaning scenes. And while not all of its purported benefits are backed up by science, it does have bonafide antimicrobial properties that make it an effective spot cleaner.
There are many ways to use ACV at home including as a window wash, cutting board refresher, or even fruit fly trap. Most of the time, though, it’s used in all-purpose cleaners. Simply combine equal parts ACV and water in a spray bottle and apply to appliances, countertops, and furniture like you would any other cleaner.
Baking soda: A quick refresh for appliances (and basically anything smelly).
A deodorizer with a much more approachable smell than vinegar, baking soda can help you freshen up appliances, trash cans, and basically anything else that gets smelly over time. Mix in a few drops of the essential oil of your choosing and you have a cleansing powder for your sneakers and trash bin. Or combine it with just enough water to make a paste and let it sit in your blender, oven, or microwave for a few minutes before wiping clean.
Lemon: A surface stain remover.
While the jury’s still out on whether lemon can remove clothing stains, it should be able to tackle food and drink stains on hard surfaces like mugs and tableware. Let its juice sit on a stain for 10 to 15 minutes before wiping down with a cloth. If that doesn’t work, add some salt to make the spot treatment more abrasive.
White vinegar & essential oils: All-purpose wipes
Essential oils can add a smell-good factor to any DIY cleaner, and they also add an antibacterial element to these homemade wipes that Fern Green, author of Natural Home Cleaning, shared with mbg last year.
