Dozens injured in anti-lockdown protests in Lebanon’s Tripoli
Al Jazeera – At least 45 people have been injured in overnight clashes in northern Lebanon between security forces and demonstrators angered by a coronavirus lockdown that has worsened their economic woes, the Lebanese Red Cross says.
At least nine of the injured were treated in hospital following rolling scuffles in the city of Tripoli, the Red Cross said on Wednesday.
In the second protest in as many days, protesters pelted government offices with stones and blocked a main square.
The army was deployed to contain the rioters, who torched a vehicle parked in the area, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
At least 30 people were injured in similar clashes in Tripoli on Monday night as frustration with tight coronavirus restrictions boiled over.

The Great Reset of the World Economic Forum is a 21st Century rollout for a new form of global total control.
“We only have one planet and we know that climate change could be the next global disaster with even more dramatic consequences for humankind. We have to decarbonise the economy in the short window still remaining and bring our thinking and behaviour once more into harmony with nature,” declared WEF founder Schwab about the January 2021 agenda.
The last time these actors did something at all similar in scope was in 1939 on the very eve of World War II.

At that time the Rockefeller Foundation financed a top secret strategy group working out of the New York Council on Foreign Relations. It was known as the War and Peace Studies and headed by ‘America’s Haushofer,’ geographer Isaiah Bowman of Johns Hopkins University. Before German Panzer tanks had even rolled into Poland, they were planning a postwar world where the United States would emerge as the sole victor and replace the British as the global hegemonic power.
Formulation of a US-dominated United Nations and Bretton Woods monetary order based on the dollar was part of their project. In 1941 as America formally entered the war, the CFR group sent a memo to the US State Department:
“If war aims are stated which seem to be solely concerned with Anglo-American imperialism, they will offer little to people in the rest of the world. The interests of other peoples should be stressed. This would have a better propaganda effect.”
That successful project has been the framework of what Henry Luce in 1941 called the American Century, and lasted until quite recently.
Now those same families, again including the Rockefeller Foundation and the Rothschilds in the person of Lynn de Rothschild’s “Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican,” are moving to create the next generation in their pursuit of global domination. It’s being called the Great Reset. It requires global government, a plank significantly endorsed by the Jesuit Pope Francis. Its PR man, Klaus Schwab, is a self-admitted protégé of Rockefeller insider Henry Kissinger, from their days 50 years ago at Harvard.
Biden administration to restore aid to Palestinians
BBC – US President Joe Biden’s administration will restore aid to the Palestinians that was cut by his predecessor Donald Trump and reopen diplomatic missions.
The acting US envoy to the UN, Richard Mills, told the Security Council that Mr Biden supported a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
To help advance one, he said, the US would “restore credible engagement”.
Palestinians broke off contacts with Mr Trump’s administration and rejected his peace plan as biased towards Israel.
The plan, unveiled a year ago, envisaged recognising Israeli sovereignty over Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank and Jordan Valley, and Jerusalem remaining Israel’s “undivided capital”.
It also proposed the creation of a Palestinian state in about 70% of the West Bank, all of Gaza, and with its capital on the fringes of East Jerusalem.
Israel occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem in the 1967 Middle East war. Most of the international community considers the settlements illegal under international law, though Israel disputes this.
EU official calls for UK-made vaccines to go to Europe
Daily Mail – EU officials have brazenly demanded that UK-made Covid vaccines be exported to Europe to make up for shortfalls in their roll-out – just a day after Ursula Von Der Leyen threatened to stop doses made on the continent from coming the other way.
In a stunning piece of hypocrisy, EU Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides said that AstraZeneca vaccines made in Britain should be used to make up for a 60 per cent reduction in jabs to the continent that the company said was due to low production at a factory in Belgium.
‘UK factories are part of our advanced purchase agreement and that is why they have to deliver,’ Kyriakides said, noting that two of the four factories involved in the EU’s contract with AstraZeneca are in Britain.

Amnesty Calls on Biden to Close Guantánamo and End Military Commissions “Once and For All”
Activist Post – After U.S. military prosecutors filed formal charges against three longtime prisoners at the Guantánamo Bay offshore prison for nearly 15 years without trial, Amnesty International on Monday reiterated demands that President Joe Biden urgently end military commissions there and close down the detention center once and for all.
The Pentagon on Thursday announced charges against Riduan Isamuddin—better known as Hambali—of Indonesia as well as Mohammed Nazir Bin Lep and Mohammed Farik Bin Amin of Malaysia. They were captured in Thailand nearly 18 years ago and sent to Gitmo in September of 2006.
“The charges include conspiracy, murder, attempted murder, intentionally causing serious bodily injury, terrorism, attacking civilians, attacking civilian objects, destruction of property, and accessory after the fact, all in violation of the law of war,” the Pentagon said in a statement.
The statement came on the first full day of Biden’s presidency. Even before it began, he faced pressure to shutter the prison. On January 11, the 19th anniversary of its opening, Amnesty declared, “The treatment and imprisonment in Guantánamo are glaring human rights violations that the Biden administration must end now.”
As Establishment Pushes ‘Triple Masks’ This State Voted to Over Turn Mask Mandate
Free Thought Project – For those who have been paying attention, the “experts” on the coronavirus have been the complete opposite of consistent when it comes to advising Americans on how to react to the pandemic. Since the lockdowns began in March, hypocrisy has been at the forefront and masks are on the main stage.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has been at the center of this entire debacle from day one — first telling Americans not to wear masks and then pushing for a nationwide mask mandate — is not free from this hypocrisy either.
The mainstream media has been in lockstep with politicians who continuously move the goal post on where they stand. One glaring example of this is the fact that a video of Dr. Fauci telling Americans that “there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask,” was fact-checked by Reuters and the like despite it being 100% real.
In the clip, Dr Fauci says “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences — people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.”
Of course, Fauci later reversed his stance, and has hypocritically failed to abide by his own recommendations.
After telling the nation to mask up, Fauci was seen at the MLB game between the Washington Nationals and the New York Yankees — not wearing his mask. When word got out, Fauci went on the offensive and called those who criticized him for it, “mischievous” and claimed to have pulled down the mask because he was drinking water. But the picture showed that wasn’t true, he had his phone in both hands — not a water.
This week, state health officials in California refused to tell the public why they locked down the entire state which appeared to have little to no effect on the spread of the virus. Then, as cases were at all time highs, they randomly lifted the stay-at-home order, further confusing everyone.
At least one state has had enough.
In Wisconsin, the state Senate has voted to repeal the mask mandate issued by Gov. Tony Evers last August.
“This is not about whether face masks are good or bad,” Republican state Sen. Steve Nass, said before the vote. “This is about repeatedly issuing emergency orders contrary to what the law allows.”
The measure still has to pass a vote in the Assembly, and as it is Republican controlled, this will likely happen.
The idea that people react differently to a pandemic based on their political ideology is utter insanity. However, it is a testament to the power of the two-party system and its ability to sway people. Because of this politicization of a disease, half of the country thought it was fake while the other half were so fear stricken some of them wished death on children.
By flip-flopping on issues, issuing arbitrary dictates, and blatantly disobeying their own mandates, these hypocrite politicians have successfully whipped Americans and the rest of the world into fit of hysteria in which people don’t believe experts when they speak or do believe non-experts spouting complete nonsense. If FOXSNBCNN told their viewers tomorrow that you can’t get COVID-19 below 3 feet of elevation, half the country would probably start crawling around on their hands and knees.
This is the state of politics and the media in 2021. It’s an embarrassment to the human species that we actually have any faith left in the system.
Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio was an FBI informant
Guardian – Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys extremist group, has a past as an informer for federal and local law enforcement, repeatedly working undercover for investigators after he was arrested in 2012, according to a former prosecutor and a transcript of a 2014 federal court proceeding obtained by Reuters.
In the Miami hearing, a federal prosecutor, a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and Tarrio’s own lawyer described his undercover work and said he had helped authorities prosecute more than a dozen people in various cases involving drugs, gambling and human smuggling.
Tarrio, in an interview with Reuters on Tuesday, denied working undercover or cooperating in cases against others. “I don’t know any of this,’” he said, when asked about the transcript. “I don’t recall any of this.”
Law enforcement officials and the court transcript contradict Tarrio’s denial. In a statement to Reuters, the former federal prosecutor in Tarrio’s case, Vanessa Singh Johannes, confirmed that “he cooperated with local and federal law enforcement, to aid in the prosecution of those running other, separate criminal enterprises, ranging from running marijuana grow houses in Miami to operating pharmaceutical fraud schemes.”
Tarrio, 36, is a high-profile figure who organizes and leads the rightwing Proud Boys in their confrontations with those they believe to be antifa, short for “anti-fascism”, an amorphous and often violent leftist movement. The Proud Boys were involved in the deadly insurrection at the Capitol on 6 January.
The records uncovered by Reuters are startling because they show that a leader of a far-right group now under intense scrutiny by law enforcement was previously an active collaborator with criminal investigators.
Biden’s Order to Stop Trump’s Border Wall Construction Will Be Costly and Also It’s Likely Illegal
Gateway Pundit – Joe Biden’s Executive Order demanding stopping the building of the southern wall may be costly but also unconstitutional.
Joe Biden signed an executive order to stop the building of the border wall immediately after his his unattended inauguration. ABC7 in Los Angeles reported:
Biden on Wednesday ordered a “pause” on all wall construction within a week, one of 17 executive orders issued on his first day in office, including six dealing with immigration.
The order leaves projects throughout the border unfinished – but still under contract – after Trump worked feverishly last year to build 450 miles (720 kilometers), a goal he said he achieved eight days before leaving office.
The Trump administration said it had identified $15 billion to reach a total of 738 miles (1,181 kilometers), but it is unclear how many of those additional miles are under contract and what cancellation fees Biden would face to fulfill his pledge to not build “another foot.” Biden ordered answers within two months on how much the government committed, how much it would cost to extricate itself and whether contracts could be repurposed for other uses.
This Biden action, although it’s not known if Biden even understands what he was doing, will be costly. CNN reported in December that it will cost the country to end building the border wall:
There are costs incurred before construction starts, such as planning costs, land acquisitions and manufacturing expenses and pre-positioning equipment. If contracts are terminated, there may also be the need to pay costs associated with clean up, demobilization and potentially restoration of land for safety and environmental reasons.
The government has a long standing authority to terminate contracts, but doing so comes at a cost, according to contracting experts. “The contractors will expect favorable settlements. The last thing the government wants is to have a long, dragged out, difficult negotiation with a contractor who says they’re blameless,” said Charles Tiefer, a government contracting law professor at the University of Baltimore.
Now the Washington Times reports that Biden’s Executive Order may be illegal:
President Biden’s directive pausing border wall construction is probably illegal, several experts told The Washington Times, saying he has the power to cancel Defense Department money that was being funneled toward the project, but he went too far by halting construction paid for by money Congress had specifically approved for the wall.

Biden to open ‘Obamacare’ enrolment period for COVID-19 relief
Al Jazeera – United States President Joe Biden plans to open a special period to enrol in healthcare coverage under the former President Barack Obama-era Affordable Care Act (ACA) geared to people needing coverage during the coronavirus pandemic.
Biden is expected to sign an executive order on Thursday reopening the HealthCare.gov insurance markets, a portal that connects Americans to subsidised health plans, said two people familiar with the plan, whose details were still being finalised. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to discuss the pending order ahead of a formal announcement.
Customers launch boycott of Bed, Bath & Beyond for canceling Mike Lindell
WND – A consumer organization has launched a boycott of the Bed, Bath & Beyond store chain over its decision to drop MyPillow products because of the politics of owner Mike Lindell.
The Media Action Network said that as a result of its boycott dozens of shoppers on Tuesday simply walked away from their shopping carts at the checkout counter at the corporation’s outlet in Larkspur, California.
Lindell, famous for his MyPillow TV ads, employs more than 1,500 people at his Minnesota plant.
An ardent supporter of President Trump, he recounted to WND last May the remarkable transformation in his life through his faith in Jesus Christ.
But his support for Trump has led to a permanent ban by Twitter. And along with Bed Bath & Beyond, Wayfair and Kohl’s have stopped selling his products.
“This isn’t about pillows. It’s about the continual punishment of conservative speech,” Media Action Network founder Ken LaCorte said in his organization’s announcement.
“And we’ve had enough.”
Democrats introduce bill to raise minimum wage to $15 by 2025
CNN – Seeking to fulfill a long-standing Democratic ambition, a coalition of lawmakers introduced a bill on Tuesday that would raise the national minimum wage to $15 an hour.
The measure, which is also included in President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion relief package, calls for gradually increasing the hourly wage in increments until it hits $15 in 2025. After that, it would be indexed to median wage growth — a move meant to guarantee wages keep up with inflation without needing new legislation.
Democratic lawmakers have pushed for years to raise the minimum wage, which now stands at $7.25 and hasn’t been increased since 2009.
President Barack Obama pressed in his 2013 State of the Union address to bump up the hourly rate in stages to $9 an hour over two years, and state and local governments around the country have done just that. Voters have consistently approved even bigger minimum wage hikes when they appear on the ballot — most recently in Florida, where voters supported a $15 minimum wage in November.
But the legislative drive has stalled in Congress, where Democrats were in the minority in either the House or Senate, or both, from 2010 until this year.
Now, with narrow majorities in both chambers and Biden in the White House, Democrats are renewing the push.

Trump’s YouTube ban is extended indefinitely and Rudy Giuliani slapped with new restrictions
Daily Mail – YouTube has indefinitely suspended Donald Trump from its platform and also barred his lawyer Rudy Giuliani from being able to monetize his content.
The Google-owned social media behemoth imposed a temporary ban on Trump’s channel two weeks ago, depriving his 3 million subscribers of content ‘in light of the ongoing potential for violence.’
It joined a raft of Silicon Valley heavyweights in censoring Trump for the Capitol riot over allegations that he fomented the deadly ‘insurrection’.
YouTube said said separately that Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani had also been taken off its Partner Program – which allows creators to make money off their videos.
He is accused of repeatedly violating YouTube’s policy against posting misleading information about the US election.
The 76-year-old has posted videos titled ‘The Biden Crime Family’s Payoff Scheme’ and ‘Election Theft of the Century’ to his channel, which has around 600,000 subscribers.
The ban on making money off his clips comes as the former New York mayor faces a $1.3 billion lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems after alleging on social media that the firm had engaged in election fraud.
According to YouTube, Giuliani will be able to appeal the decision in 30 days – providing the underlying issues have been fixed.
Trump was blocked from uploading videos to YouTube two weeks ago following the upload of a speech in Texas in which he said he was at ‘zero risk’ of 25th amendment removal and warned Democrats ‘be careful what you wish for’.
YouTube will not specify which of Trump’s remarks broke their rules. They would only say that the offending statement incited violence.
Among his remarks at the event on January 12 was that it was the ‘impeachment hoax’ that is causing ‘tremendous anger’.
‘The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden administration. As the expression goes: Be careful what you wish for.
‘The impeachment hoax is a continuation of the greatest and most vicious witch hunt in the history of our country, and it is causing tremendous anger and division and pain – far greater than most people will ever understand, which is very dangerous for the USA, especially at this very tender time,’ he said.
The decision by YouTube to ban Trump indefinitely fuels an ongoing war between Trump fans and Big Tech.

The PCR test for COVID – 19 Identifies Only Human DNA
Investment Watch Blog – Amandha Dawn Vollmer is a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto and has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology. She found that the COVID-19 test does not actually test for COVID-19. The test itself is a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test that identifies DNA particles.
She found that the PCR testing protocol developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to detect COVID-19 actually tests for chromosome 8, which is present in all humans. One of the “primer” sequences (the start sequence) in the PCR test for SARS-CoV-2, which is used by the WHO, is found in any human DNA. In essence, we are the “virus”.
The COVID-19 test is done using reagents to extract an RNA sample. An enzyme called reverse transcriptase converts RNA into a complementary DNA sequence. DNA (called “primer”) is reproduced (amplified) several times so that the sought DNA sequence can be detected. The more replication cycles, the more likely it is that the targeted sequence will be detected.
Sometimes chromosome 8 (aka “COVID-19)” is detected, other times it is not detected by the PCR test. The reason why it is not always detected is that the PCR test sample (“primer”) must be amplified. And if the “primer” is not sufficiently amplified, the DNA sequence will not be identifiable. This is the scam. If amplified sufficiently, what has been identified as the” COVID-19 virus ” (aka chromosome 8) will always be detected. That limit point for amplification cycles determines a positive or negative result.
Now you know why the test gives 80% false-positive results for COVID-19 and why so many people tested positive are described as asymptomatic. They don’t have any COVID-19. They have what everyone has, chromosome 8.
Natural Rx: Having Trees Close To Home Might Ease Depression Risk
MBG – From promoting physical health to helping us connect to the Earth, natural greenspace comes with many benefits. And according to new research published in the journal Nature, you can add a mental health boost to the list. In the study, a team of European researchers found that the more trees that lined the streets of a neighborhood, the fewer antidepressants were prescribed to its inhabitants—in Germany, at least.

For the research, the team looked for correlations between the number of trees in a given area, and the number of antidepressants prescribed, to find out whether “everyday” greenspace can positively impact mental health.
They looked at data from nearly 10,000 residents in one German city to get numbers on antidepressant scripts and then compared those numbers with the number (and species) of trees on streets throughout the city. And sure enough, those who had more trees within a 100-meter radius of their homes were less likely to be prescribed an antidepressant.
Importantly, these findings were especially true for marginalized groups with a low socio-economic status (who are already at a greater risk for depression). This further supports the idea that increasing the amount of greenery in a neighborhood is a good investment in public health, and a relatively affordable one at that.
