Fox – China believes President-elect Joe Biden represents a “new window of hope” for the country’s relationship with the United States, according to state media.
Biden’s critics have expressed concern that he will take a friendlier stance toward China than President Trump as tensions between the two rivals have risen after a trade battle and the spread of COVID-19.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told state media outlet CGTN last week that “a new window of hope is opening” with the incoming administration.
Jared Kushner brokers deal ending Saudi Arabia’s fight with Qatar
Fox – Saudi Arabia and its allies are expected to sign a deal Tuesday officially ending a feud with Qatar in an agreement negotiated by White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, a government official confirmed Monday.
The détente — designed to further isolate Iran — follows a slew of historic Middle East peace deals brokered by the Trump White House in recent months normalizing relations between Israel and some of its Arab neighbors.
Tuesday’s deal will set in motion the end of a four-year-old blockade of Qatar by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Bahrain who, in 2017, accused Qatar’s leaders of supporting terrorism and aligning itself with Iran.
Kushner helped broker the deal over the past few weeks and flew to Saudi Arabia on Monday to witness the signing at the Gulf Cooperation Council meeting, the official said.
Russia to Roll Out “Vaccine Certificates” for Domestic and International Travel
Activist Post – The Russian government is set to roll out electronic vaccination certificates that will provide proof an individual has received a COVID-19 jab for the purpose of traveling across borders.
RT reports that a series of instructions were published prior to the new year in which Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered policymakers “to consider issuing certificates to people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 infections using Russian vaccines… for the purpose of enabling citizens to travel across the borders of the Russian Federation and those of other countries.”
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said over the weekend that as of January 1, people who are inoculated in Russia will be issued the electronic certificate. He also mentioned that the ministry will keep a database of citizens who have been vaccinated, similar to the decision made by Spain’s government in December.
Iran issues Interpol notice for 48 US officials including Trump
Al Jazeera – US President Donald Trump has had a “red notice” request for his arrest issued through Interpol by Iran.
Iranian judiciary spokesman Gholamhossein Esmaili announced during a press conference on Tuesday that Iran has requested the international police organisation to arrest Trump and 47 other American officials identified as playing a role in the assassination of top general Qassem Soleimani last year.

At Georgia rally, Pence says America will ‘hear the evidence’ of election fraud on Jan. 6
Yahoo News – Vice President Mike Pence said Monday that the case for widespread election fraud would be made to the American people when Congress meets this week to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s victory over President Trump.
“We’ve all got our doubts about the last election. I share the concerns of millions of Americans about voting irregularities,” Pence said at an indoor congregation at Rock Springs Church in Milner, Ga., in support of Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue in runoff elections there.
Pence, who by law will be tasked with declaring a winner of the Electoral College vote, seemed to leave open the possibility that Trump could still remain in power for a second term.
“Come this Wednesday,” he said, referring to the impending certification of election results, “we’ll have our day in Congress. We’ll hear the evidence.”
Biden won the state of Georgia by 12,000 votes, and three separate recounts have confirmed that victory. But with Trump contesting the election results, and pressuring Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find 11,780 votes” and declare him the winner, Pence’s job of turning out the vote in the two Senate runoff elections has been made more precarious.
If both Loeffler and Perdue lose to Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, the Senate will be split 50-50 between Democrats and Republicans, giving Vice President-elect Kamala Harris a tie-breaking vote and vastly easing the path for Biden’s agenda.
GOP Rep. Roy: ‘Right Now, We’re in a Cold Civil War’ — ‘Full-Scale Hot Conflict’ if Dems Win GA
Breitbart – Monday on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) warned of dire consequences if Republicans fail to hold on to the two U.S. Senate seats up in Georgia on Tuesday.
Roy told Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson the division in the country could escalate from the current state of “cold civil war” to “full-scale hot.”
“[T]he American people are rightfully angry,” he said. “The American people are angry about big government, but they’re also angry about Big Tech. They’re angry about corporations that are stomping all over small businesses, local governments that are shutting down small businesses and putting them out of work. Now, they’ve seen issues in elections that are reducing their faith in elections that matter for democracy and for our country.”

FDA Admits PCR Tests Give False Results, Prepares Ground For Biden To “Crush” Casedemic
ZeroHedge – The FDA today joined The WHO and Dr.Fauci in admitting there is a notable risk of false results from the standard PCR-Test used to define whether an individual is a COVID “Case” or not.
This matters significantly as it fits perfectly with the ‘fake rescue’ plan we have previously described would occur once the Biden admin took office. But before we get to that ‘conspiracy’, we need a little background on how the world got here…
We have detailed the controversy surrounding America’s COVID “casedemic” and the misleading results of the PCR test and its amplification procedure in great detail over the past few months.
As a reminder, “cycle thresholds” (Ct) are the level at which widely used polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test can detect a sample of the COVID-19 virus. The higher the number of cycles, the lower the amount of viral load in the sample; the lower the cycles, the more prevalent the virus was in the original sample.
Numerous epidemiological experts have argued that cycle thresholds are an important metric by which patients, the public, and policymakers can make more informed decisions about how infectious and/or sick an individual with a positive COVID-19 test might be. However, as JustTheNews reports, health departments across the country are failing to collect that data.
Here are a few headlines from those experts and scientific studies:
- Experts compiled three datasets with officials from the states of Massachusetts, New York and Nevada that conclude:“Up to 90% of the people who tested positive did not carry a virus.”
- The Wadworth Center, a New York State laboratory, analyzed the results of its July tests at the request of the NYT: 794 positive tests with a Ct of 40: “With a Ct threshold of 35, approximately half of these PCR tests would no longer be considered positive,” said the NYT. “And about 70% would no longer be considered positive with a Ct of 30! “
- An appeals court in Portugal has ruled that the PCR process is not a reliable test for Sars-Cov-2, and therefore any enforced quarantine based on those test results is unlawful.
- A new study from the Infectious Diseases Society of America, found that at 25 cycles of amplification, 70% of PCR test “positives” are not “cases” since the virus cannot be cultured, it’s dead. And by 35: 97% of the positives are non-clinical.
- PCR is not testing for disease, it’s testing for a specific RNA pattern and this is the key pivot. When you crank it up to 25, 70% of the positive results are not really “positives” in any clinical sense, since it cannot make you or anyone else sick
So, in summary, with regard to our current “casedemic”, positive tests as they are counted today do not indicate a “case” of anything. They indicate that viral RNA was found in a nasal swab. It may be enough to make you sick, but according to the New York Times and their experts, probably won’t. And certainly not sufficient replication of the virus to make anyone else sick. But you will be sent home for ten days anyway, even if you never have a sniffle. And this is the number the media breathlessly reports… and is used to fearmonger mask mandates and lockdowns nationwide…
GOP Sen Josh Hawley Says ‘Antifa Scumbags’ Threatened His Wife and Newborn
Newsweek – issouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley, who announced in December that he would challenge the results of the Electoral College during Wednesday’s Congressional vote, said Monday that “Antifa scumbags” frightened his family at their Washington, D.C. home.
Hawley has drawn criticism for his decision to contest the electoral votes by lawmakers from both sides of the aisle. Washington D.C. police are anticipating protests in the city on Tuesday and Wednesday in connection with the electoral vote count. In a tweet, Hawley said that the incident occurred while he was in his home state of Missouri.
“Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” Hawley tweeted. “They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence”
Wisconsin mobilizes National Guard and city approves emergency resolution ahead of charging decision in police shooting of Jacob Blake
CNN – Wisconsin is mobilizing the National Guard and the city of Kenosha approved an emergency declaration Monday ahead of the announcement of the decision on possible charges in the police shooting of Jacob Blake in August.
Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Gravely will deliver his charging decision for the officer who shot the 29-year-old Black man within the first two weeks of January, according to a the agenda of Monday’s city council meeting, which unanimously approved granting Mayor John Antaramian emergency powers once the announcement is made.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers announced Monday he is mobilizing 500 National Guard troops ahead of the decision at the request of local officials.
“Our members of the National Guard will be on hand to support local first responders, ensure Kenoshans are able to assemble safely, and to protect critical infrastructure as necessary,” Evers said in the statement.
Blake was shot seven times in the back by a White Kenosha police officer, Rusten Sheskey, responding to a call about a domestic incident on August 23, 2020. Blake survived the shooting but was left paralyzed from the waist down.
Disturbing video of the incident led to mass protests in Kenosha as well as across the US.

Patrick Byrne released breaking information this morning on fraudulent ballots in Michigan.
Byrne notes that a printer in Michigan printed ballots for Pennsylvania. This printer then prints additional ballots that somehow make it to Bethpage, New York. In New York, ballots are processed for Joe Biden by individuals who are not the people identified in the ballots. This was a massive election fraud enterprise.
Proposed Bill Bans Body Armor, Makes Possession a Crime, Forces Citizens to Turn it In or Face Arrest
Activist Post – Lawmakers in New York have proposed one of the most tyrannical and utterly worrisome pieces of legislation we’ve seen. They want to ban citizens from having body armor to protect themselves from bullets. As no one has ever beaten anyone to death with a bullet proof vest, the intentions behind this bill are clear and have no other purpose other than making it easier for government to kill citizens and harder for citizens to protect themselves from bullets.
New York, which has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, now wants to make it a misdemeanor and potential felony for people to purchase or possess a passive means of resistance to bullets.
Unlike other attempts to ban body armor like we’ve seen in the past, this bill does not grandfather people in who already own it. In fact, the bill says that it must be turned over to the state for disposal, or you are guilty. After the passage of the bill, citizens will have 15 days to turn it in before they are declared criminals.
Assembly Bill A352 was introduced and cosponsored by David McDonough, Richard Gottfried, and Michael Montesano. It reads as follows (emphasis added.)
- 270.21 Unlawful purchase or possession of a body vest. A person is guilty of the unlawful purchase or possession of a body vest when he or she knowingly and unlawfully purchases or possesses a body vest, as such term is defined in subdivision two of section 270.20 of this article. This section shall not apply to active law enforcement officers or those whose occupations require the use of body vests as determined by the department of state.
Unlawful purchase or possession of a body vest is a class A misdemeanor for a first offense and a class E felony for any subsequent offense.
- 2. Any person currently in possession of a body vest, as such term is defined in subdivision two of section 270.20 of the penal law, shall have 15 days from the effective date of this act to dispose of such body vest at any local or state law enforcement agency.
On the government’s website, they allow comments from citizens. Naturally, this piece of legislation is not being well received. One person pointed out the obvious, saying, “The only legitimate reason for this bill is to make it easier for the State to murder the disarmed subjects of New York.”
“I cannot believe that such a bill would even be introduced in our state. The government here wants to control every aspect of our lives, even such a purely defensive item. Shame on our lawmakers for even considering such a bill,” another commenter wrote.
“This is a vile and wicked bill! Body armor is the most passive form of self protection possible that a person can use and you want to take that away from law-abiding citizens?! You should be disgusted with yourselves for ever proposing such a thing!” another person pointed out.
We agree with all of them.
The reality is America has less major crime than at any point in the last 40 years, and yet we have cops patrolling American streets as if they are in the Korengal or Fallujah, and treating the citizens as such, with absolutely no regard for the Constitution.
Gabbard on House Gender-Neutral Language: Those Claiming to Champion Women ‘Deny the Very Biological Existence of Women’

Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) said that House rules that eliminate gendered language do “the very opposite” of empowering women and it’s the “height of hypocrisy for people who claim to be the champions of rights for women to deny the very biological existence of women.”
Host Tucker Carlson asked, “So, how does it empower women to ban the acknowledgment that women exist?”

She later added, “When you look at why Title IX was created, it was created out of this recognition that there is a biological distinction between men and women and boys and girls. It’s — it defies common sense. It defies basic, established science.”

NYSE reverses plans to delist China’s three big telcos
Techcrunch – In an unexpected turn, the New York Stock Exchange said Monday that it no longer intends to delist China’s three major telecoms operators, a decision that was originally announced on December 31.
The initial action targeted China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom as part of the Trump Administration’s move to bar investment in companies deemed to supply and support China’s military, intelligence and security services.
The current blacklist names 35 companies, including the parent organizations of the three listed telecoms firms as well as Huawei and China’s major chipmaker SMIC.
The reversal was made “in light of further consultation with relevant regulatory authorities,” said the exchange. The companies will continue to be listed and traded on the NYSE while the exchange will continue to evaluate how the executive order applies to them and their listing status, according to the announcement.
The delisting of the three telecoms giants, which have been trading on NYSE for about two decades, was seen by some experts as merely symbolic. The trading volumes of these firms in New York are only a small percentage of their total tradable shares, thus the impact of the potential delisting “would be rather limited on the companies’ growth and general market performance,” said the China Securities Regulatory Commission in a statement issued on Sunday.

“The restaurant industry simply cannot wait for relief any longer,” Sean Kennedy, executive vice president of public affairs at the association, said in a letter to Congress. “What these findings make clear is that more than 500,000 restaurants of every business type — franchise, chain and independent — are in an economic free fall.”

Fiat Chrysler & Peugeot say ‘yes’ to creating the world’s fourth-largest automaker in $58bn merger
RT – Shareholders of both Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Group PSA, the French maker of Peugeot and Citroën cars, approved a $58 billion merger that will turn them into the world’s fourth-biggest car producer.
The newly combined enterprise will be called Stellantis. The merger will reportedly generate billions of dollars in annual savings and boost the development of electric and autonomous vehicles, which are projected to drastically change the auto industry in the near future.
Fiat Chrysler manufactures such well-known cars as Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Lancia. Meanwhile, PSA produces Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall auto brands.

Here’s how to watch stunning Quadrantid meteor shower tonight
Live Science – The Quadrantid meteor shower is peaking, and skywatchers in North America have a good chance of seeing the tail end of the show tonight.
This annual meteor shower typically peaks between Jan. 3 and Jan. 4 each year. This year has thus far provided less-than-ideal views for skywatchers, given that the moon was 81% full overnight on Jan. 3. The Quadrantids are fairly faint meteors, so moonlight can easily wash them out. The moon is waning, however, so Jan. 4 might allow for better meteor-spotting, if at a lesser rate than during the Jan. 3 peak.
To see the Quadrantids, find a dark spot with minimal light pollution. Beat the moonrise or wait until after moonset if you can. Dress warmly and allow your eyes to adjust to the dark for 15 or 20 minutes. The meteors will seem to emanate from the constellation Boötes. To find that constellation, first find the Big Dipper in the northern sky. Then follow the handle of the Big Dipper to the bright star Arcturus, which anchors the bottom of Boötes. The constellation looks a bit like a warped kite with a short tail. You can find out when this constellation (the meteor shower’s “radiant”) will be above the horizon by entering your location at the Time and Date meteor shower page.

Campaign to Put the C Into COVID

If you’re a human, gorilla, chimp, fruit bat or guinea pig (among the few species that have lost the ability to make vitamin C within the body), you live in the northern hemisphere, and you’re not taking vitamin C more than once a day, you’re likely to be putting yourself at unnecessary risk from respiratory infections.
If you’re older, or you suffer from underlying conditions such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes or obesity, these could be life threatening. Covid-19 is but one virus, of over 200, known to infect the human airway and cause respiratory diseases.
Not only can we not make our own vitamin C, we also don’t get anything like enough from our diet. More than that, our vitamin C requirement increases 10 times or more when our immune system is challenged by infection.
But there’s more still. There’s mounting research on the importance of high dose vitamin C as an adjunct therapy for those seriously ill with covid disease – and, those who suffer the worse impacts from the disease, have very low vitamin C status. Their circulating levels of vitamin C are so low – they’re likely to be firmly within the levels that cause the vitamin C deficiency disease, scurvy. Yes, scurvy may be a historic disease, but it’s very much with us in this modern world in which the vitamin C content of our industrialised food supply is so low that, for most of us, our only option is now to take vitamin C as a supplement. Or if we get really sick, have it administered intravenously by forward-thinking medics.
This all sets the scene for why a global campaign – something we’re thrilled to be a part of – is so necessary and why it’s been launched this week, on the back of a review article published in the journal Nutrients that puts all the arguments and science in one, neat place.
That makes it harder for those who’re not keen to accept that a humble vitamin, like vitamin C, has so much to offer, at such low cost, and with such an extraordinary safety profile. Put as simply as we can: taking vitamin C as a preventative and then, upping your intake if you’re infected, is a no brainer. So is using vitamin C intravenously for those with acute respiratory infections, or sepsis, in critical care.
So much so, that we argue – given the now available evidence – that doctors and other health professionals who avoid recommendations on vitamin C in relation to covid disease prevention and treatment, should be considered medically negligent.
On 7th December, a landmark paper on the importance of vitamin C was published. Lead author and instigator of the international campaign is none other than nutritionist and best-selling author Patrick Holford. Patrick has pulled together many of the leading scientists and clinicians working with vitamin C and other vitamins, including Dr Paul Marik, leading the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance in the US, and Ass Prof Anitra Carr from the University of Otago in New Zealand, both of whom have been working with vitamin C in both sepsis and covid-19 patients.
Record 500,000 people pledge to eat only vegan food in January
Guardian – A record 500,000 people have signed up to the Veganuary challenge to eat only plant-based foods for a month. The milestone is double the number who pledged to go vegan for January in 2019.
A quarter of those taking up the challenge – 125,000 – are in the UK, and this year British supermarkets including Tesco have run television and radio adverts promoting Veganuary for the first time. Other supermarkets such as Aldi, Asda and Iceland have produced dedicated pages including information and recipes in 2021, again for the first time.
Veganuary is a global campaign that has recently focused on Latin America, where 150,000 people have signed up this year, along with 80,000 in the US and 50,000 in Germany.
People give a number of reasons for choosing to cut the amount of animal foods in their diets, from reducing animal suffering, improving health or to lessen the environmental damage caused by food production. Many people in rich countries already eat more meat than is healthy, and scientists say cutting out meat is the single best way individuals can tackle the climate and wildlife crises.
“The way British supermarkets have embraced Veganuary this year is truly game-changing,” she said. “They are not simply using it as a marketing opportunity, but are promoting the many benefits of plant-based eating. As bastions of our food supply, they know that the only sustainable way forward is plant-focused.”
Vernelli highlighted a message about animal welfare on Aldi’s website: “Eating less meat or avoiding animal products altogether is often a really transparent way to show you want to make a difference.” Vernelli also noted that Marks & Spencer had produced a 31-day Veganuary meal plan.

US doctor forgives $650,000 in medical bills for cancer patients
BBC – A US oncologist has wiped out nearly $650,000 worth of debts for 200 cancer patients after realising that many of them were struggling to pay.
Dr Omar Atiq closed his cancer treatment centre in Arkansas last year after nearly 30 years in business.
He worked with a debt collection firm to gather outstanding payments, but then realised many families had been hit hard financially by the pandemic.
Over Christmas, he wrote to patients telling them any debts would be erased.
“Over time I realised that there are people who just are unable to pay,” Dr Atiq told ABC’s Good Morning America.
“So my wife and I, as a family, we thought about it and looked at forgiving all the debt. We saw that we could do it and then just went ahead and did it.”
Dr Atiq, who is originally from Pakistan, founded the Arkansas Cancer Clinic in Pine Bluff in 1991, providing treatments including chemotherapy, radiation therapy and CAT scans. He is now a professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock.
“We thought there was not a better time to do this than during a pandemic that has decimated homes, people’s lives and businesses and all sorts of stuff,” Dr Atiq said, quoted by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
He said the outstanding bills from about 200 patients totalled nearly $650,000 (£480,000).
In his Christmas greeting card to patients, he wrote: “The Arkansas Cancer Clinic was proud to serve you as a patient. Although various health insurances pay most of the bills for majority of patients, even the deductibles and co-pays can be burdensome. Unfortunately, that is the way our health care system currently works. The clinic has decided to forego all balances owed to the clinic by its patients. Happy Holidays.”
