Since inauguration day, Media Research Center analysts have reviewed every mention of President Trump and top administrationofficials on ABC’s World News Tonight, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News, including weekends. The first eight months news of Trump totaled nearly 74 hours of airtime, or about 39 percent of all evening news coverage. During the last three months of summer, Trump’s the evening news mentions were 91 percent negative — worse than the astounding 89 percent negative spin calculated during the first three months, which is usuallya honeymoon period for new presidents.
