Joining in the second hour of today’s show is Dr. Kenneth Hanson, dynamic author, lecturer, and founder of “Treasures in Time,” an organization devoted to disseminating knowledge of the Biblical and classical world. He has dug on archaeological sites in the Middle East, lived in a politically volatile region of northern Galilee, and taught Hebrew on an Israeli agricultural settlement. Dr. Hanson is an associate professor in the University of Central Florida Judaic Studies Program. He earned a Ph.D. in Judaic Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, in 1991 and has since published five books. Dr. Hanson continues to give public lectures in multiple venues and teaches a wide range of Judaic Studies courses, including Jewish history and culture, the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Hebrew Bible.
